6.5% – West Coast IPA – Vegan
North Brewing Co have just released their latest West Coast IPA, City of Trees, which builds on the recipe from their last West Coast IPA, The Eighth Chamber. In The Eighth Chamber they utilised Centennial hops, known for shining bright when used on the hotter side of brewing, whilst in City of Trees they’ve gone for Idaho 7 and Amarillo. Both these hops are also known for excelling when used on the hotter side.
According to North Brewing Co, having added the hops throughout the boil, whirlpool and fermentation their oils have oozed into a slick base of extra pale and cara malt to create a tacky gum of freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice, spruce tips, tangerine and lemon all with the classic bitterness and pine that people appreciate in a West Coast IPA.
City of Trees is available now from the North Brewing Co webshop.
