Brew York Brewery Bash 2023

YOU’RE INVITED TO OUR BIRTHDAY PARTY.

In April 2023, Brew York will be seven, so we are having a BIG party to celebrate – and you’re all invited!

We’re so excited to confirm our next Brewery Bash will take place at our main state-of-the art brewery and newest tap room space at Handley Park, Osbaldwick, YO19 5UP. The dates are 21st and 22nd April, and tickets are on sale now.

WHAT TO EXPECT

BEER! And lots of it – from our frequently-brewed best-sellers to recent releases and birthday specials, we plan to thrill your tastebuds!

We’ll also have a flock of hand-picked street food vendors, pop-up bars showcasing incredible international guest breweries, plus a curated programme of talks and tastings – more on all that to follow.

What’s more, there will be a rare chance to take a tour of our £2million state-of-the-art production facility and see exactly where the magic happens.

GUEST BREWERIES

We’ve got some absolute belters lined up for you! We’re currently announcing the five guest breweries for 2023 on social media so keep an eye out. So far we’ve announced..

LERVIG – based in Stavanger, Norway, Lervig is renowned for producing some of the best beers in Europe from easy-drinking pilsners and pales to bold and complex barrel-aged stouts, barley wines, and sours
FUNKY FLUID – based in Warsaw, Poland, Funky Fluid create beers without compromise or shortcuts including powerfully hopped IPAs, fruit-laden sours, and adjunct-heavy imperial stouts
BLECH BRUT – based in Bamberg, Blech Brut is one of the most sought-after and top-rated craft beer breweries in Germany, famous for its balanced dry-hopped lagers and super-fruity IPAs
MOERSLEUTEL – Based in the Netherlands, Moersleutel Craft Brewery create big, bold and flavourful beers which are not for the faint-hearted!
HIDDEN SPRINGS – Located on historic Franklin Street in Tampa Hei, Florida, Hidden Springs Ale Works is an urban oasis brewery!
We cannot wait to welcome them to York!

ACCESSIBILITY

Building access

The main building and brewery both have ground floor level access with doorways wide enough for most wheelchairs and pushchairs. All bars and toilets are via ground floor level access and one spacious, wheelchair-friendly toilet cubicle is available.

Our event talks and tastings are located on a mezzanine floor within the main building. This can only be accessed via a staircase comprising 16 steps and a handrail.

There is no on-site parking available for this event. Drops offs/ pick ups must be made on Outgang Lane, the main street beyond the entrance gates.

Families

Under 18s are very welcome to join us until 8pm. Some family friendly activities are provided, including Cornhole.

Baby changing facilities are available. Please feel free to bring your own baby food/ milk etc and we can warm it for you if required. We are breastfeeding-friendly.

Anti-discrimination

Everyone is welcome in our venues. We will not put up with abusive, offensive, or harassing behaviour. Everyone who visits us is encouraged to read our Code of Conduct and once on our premises will be expected to behave in accordance with our stated expectations.

Alcohol-free

Our main bar stocks a range of alcohol-free options, including beer, soft drinks, tea and coffee.

Dietary

We have gluten-free and vegan beers available, as well as draft cider.

We aim to ensure our food vendors cater to a range of dietary requirements. Please check directly with the vendors themselves regarding any specific queries.

LOCATION

The event will take place at our main HQ at Handley Park, Outgang Lane, York, YO19 5UP. Note it is not at the central Beer Hall and Taproom on Walmgate. There is no local vehicle parking so do not travel here directly by car as you will not be able to leave your vehicle anywhere.

When you are on Outgang Lane please follow the directions to the main entrance.
