York Beer and Cider Festival 2023

York’s oldest and best beer festival in its 49th year returns to central York in style in the glorious surroundings of St Lawrence Church.
There will be over 250 beers and ciders available, plus world wines, meads, prosecco and spirits served in this stunning church setting.
Be sure to book your tickets in advance as demand will be high for this new and unique venue just a short walk from York city centre.

Trade by invitation only 12pm – 4:30pm
Open to public 6pm – 11pm
Thursday 14 – Saturday 16
12pm – 4:30 pm and 6pm – 11pm
Card or contactless payments are our payment method for all areas – bars, food, membership and tombola.

Fri 15 Advance £7.00, on the door £8.00
Sat 16 Advance £7.00, on the door £8.00
CAMRA members receive £2 discount on advance tickets only and are validated by producing membership card at entrance.
It is likely some sessions will be sold out – so “on the day” door entry is not guaranteed.
2023 Souvenir Glasses are £5 non-refundable.
Half pint ‘glass’ glasses are £3 non-refundable.
Polycarbonate glasses are available free of charge.
How to get to the festival:
It’s about a 20 minute walk from the rail station and served by buses #10 Stamford Bridge (Stop RL), #67 University (Stop RJ) and 747/X46/47 Pocklington/Hull (Stop RC). Alight south of Walmgate Bar by the Waggon and Horses and cross road by traffic lights.
