SALT Anounce 5th Birthday Box

The SALT Birthday Collection has arrived in their webshop to celebrate their fifth birthday. Within the bespoke gift box you’ll find one of each of the birthday brews, a limited edition glass, 5 limited edition beer mats and a shiny info card.

The Birthday Brews

Origins Helles (5.0%) A nod to their roots, they’ve put their own spin on the traditional lager, in a perfectly balanced Helles style.

Double Serge (6.0%) Since it’s their birthday (and presumably can do what they want to), they doubled the first recipe brought to SALT by their Head Brewer, multi-award winning Colin Stronge, to produce this 6% beer with an intense citrus kick.

Tropical Ikat (8.0%) Ikat is a beer they largely accredit their success to today. To give it a special birthday twist they’ve brought forward flavours of the tropics: succulent mango combined with tart passionfruit.

Nuclear Fog (10.0%) Mosaic and Citra are at the base of this brew, creating a delicious blend of citrus rind, passion fruit and a light bitterness, which complements perfectly with the warming quality of this mighty beer.

Birthday Cake Stout (8.0%) You can’t celebrate a birthday without cake – and the final addition to the birthday collection is just that.

New barrel aged beers from Vocation

Vocation have announced the latest additions to their decadent Barrel Aged rangeImperial Banana and Coconut Stout and Imperial Blended Porter.

Imperial Banana Coconut Stout is a complex 8 malt imperial (10.2%) stout, aged for 16 months in bourbon barrels. Aromas of toasted coconut and foam bananas, rolling into layers of caramel and burnt toffee.

Blended Imperial Porter was originally brewed in Autumn 2021. This traditional porter (10.4%) has spent the last 25 months in Pinot Noir and Lady of the Glenn Whisky casks, developing aromas of cherry and smoke with deep, full-bodied flavours of vanilla and plums.

Why not indulge yourself in their new creations in their new multipack, featuring Imperial Naughty & Nice, Imperial May Contain Sixpence, Imperial Orange Stout and the ever popular Blackberry and Plum Sour?

Hop Sessions 007 is a 4.2% NEIPA with Olicana, Harlequin & Jester hops and is part of the Brew York Hop Sessions, their experimental beer series of seriously small-batch brews. For thir seventh iteration they have partnered with Charles Faram & Co Ltd to create a NEIPA packed full of British-grown Olicana, Harlequin, and Jester hops.

10% off bottles of Landlord Dark

Timothy Taylor’s would prefer you celebrate the Six Nations this year with their very own ‘Black Stuff’ – Landlord Dark.

Landlord Dark (cough, Ramtam) originates from the multi award-winning Landlord, but brewed with caramelised sugars to give a rich yet light and drinkable dark ale.

This perfectly balanced mellow dark beer has body and depth. It has a fruity, toasted aroma with hints of chocolate, citrus and roasted malts on the tongue. A darker shade of pale!

And on top of all that loveliness, they’re offering 10% off until 15th February with free delivery and gift message on all orders.

Touchdown! Ooops, wrong sport…..
