Ossett Brewery have this week announced that their Taproom will now only be available for private hire. 40% Sale and new barrel aged stouts from Tartarus

This week Tartarus released their next range of Barrel Aged beers. They brewed a big imperial stout and aged the entire batch in 3 different barrels for 16 months. Wanting a mythical beast/creature that was a trio of some sort to name the beers after, they chose Cerberus the 3 headed dog, with each head symbolising a different barrel the beer was aged in:

Whisky Cerberus – Whisky Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 15%
Bourbon Cerberus – Heaven Hill Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 15%
Brandy Cerberus – Brandy Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 15%

They are available now on the Tartarus webshop, as individual bottles or a money saving 3 pack.

They are also running a 40% sale on some of their older stock. It’s all in date, with at least 3 months on all cans and is available as 12 bulk packs or 12/24 mixed packs.

Wold Top release new beer in new packaging

Following feedback from their customers and after a great deal of consideration, Wold Top have invested in a canning line. They have a strong and loyal fan base of bottle drinkers and wanted to ensure that they didn’t marginalise any other area of the business. By introducing cans as a seasonal, limited edition line, they aim to develop strong markets for both forms of packaging.

Their first new canned beer is Wild Swim, which is a stripped-back, clean and refreshing 4% lager with notes of soft apricot and sweet melon that contrast deliciously with the crisp, dry taste. It was created by Henry, one of their brewers to be a great introduction to Wold Top in cans and is available in their webshop now. Five more new beers will follow throughout the year.
