DESCRIPTION:On Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th June 2022 we will be holding our annual beer festival and summer fayre. We intend to follow the same format as in previous years\, that is… \n\n\n\nFriday – Mainly centred on the scout hut (and marquee) as the “pub night” with some catering\, music and pub quizzes. \n\n\n\nSaturday – a village fayre\, with catering and entertainment alongside the beer festival. \n\n\n\n(We hope to have 18 pumps and over 30 real ales plus cider\, wine and prosecco on both days) \n\n\n\nIn order to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee we are asking if individuals or local groups would like to join with us in making the event even better for the village. \n\n\n\nLocal groups/charities might wish to run a stall or activity at the village fayre\, to fundraise or publicise their activities. \n\n\n\nWe would also welcome additional volunteers to join the small team of organisers\, especially to help run aspects of the event in the setting up and breaking down of the event as well as during the event itself. DESCRIPTION:Following our success in 2019\, Henshaws Beer festival is back and this year it will be bigger and better! Local breweries Cold Bath\, Daleside\, Harrogate Brewery\, Turning Point and Roosters are joining forces to create what promises to be another fantastic event for the town. \n\n\n\nNow over two days\, Saturday’s festival will be a family friendly session from 12pm – 5pm. In the evening\, we will be welcoming adults only from 6pm – 11pm. On Sunday\, we are hosting a longer family friendly session from 12pm – 7pm. \n\n\n\nHenshaws Arts and Craft Centre offers a unique outdoor setting for the festival. The centre’s courtyard has a large stage area with undercover spaces and outdoor and indoor seating. \n\n\n\nThe weekend will feature an enticing mix of beer\, food\, music and family activities. DESCRIPTION:This May bank holiday will see the first Crafty Dogg’s Beer Festival come to Ilkley. \n\n\n\nThe event will be held at Ilkley’s Kings Hall and Winter Garden\, with more than 10 craft breweries attending. Among those attending are Beak Brewery\, Salt\, North Brewing Co and Ilkley Brewery\, who will be bringing some very special beers for everyone to purchase. \n\n\n\nThe event will run over 4 sessions over the 2 days. You can choose to buy tickets for either 11am till 4pm or 6pm till 11pm on both Saturday 30 April and Sunday 1 May. Prices start at £8.50 for one session\, which gains you entrance to the festival and glassware. You can then buy as little or as much as you wish\, with options from local bottle shop Fuggle and Golding for those who want a break from beer\, and food provided by Edward St Bakery. \n\n\n\nOrganiser Nate Kane said: \n\n\n\nBeing a local there was only one place I wanted to hold this. Other features on the programme will include an ‘Indie Beer Trail’\, live local music\, and a home brewing competition\, with some big names in UK beer heading to Harrogate to host a range of talks and tastings. \n\n\n\nHarrogate now boasts five great breweries within a HG postcode – internationally renowned Roosters; rising star Harrogate Brewing; Turning Point; Daleside\, our longest-standing local brewery; and newest name on the block\, Cold Bath Brewing. Tickets are £3\, although the 1st x50 Earlybird are available for just £2. and we’re also doing a group ticket price of £2/ticket when booked in blocks of 10. Beer prices start at £3/pint. It’s the magic number after all! We’ll have mulled wine\, plus soft drinks & regular wine options too of course. \nKeep an eye on our socials for announcements on street food. If anyone cancels or leaves early\, we’ll release door tickets so keep an eye on our Insta & FB stories for live updates if we release additional tickets. There is also the option to buy a brewery tour ticket\, which includes a free drink and in-person tour around our brewing plant. Only 20 places available on this \nEvery ticket comes with an entry into a Christmas raffle\, to be drawn on the night\, with a range of Christmas gifts on offer. \nWe’ll have plenty of seating too\, although we will be capping capacity so it’s not too crowded and so it’s more fun for everyone.
